Pastor Dr. Esther Obasi-ike is a distinguished Christian leader, chronic soul winner, internationally acclaimed inspirational speaker, and prolific author whose influence spans more than three decades across ministry, governance, education, and entrepreneurship.
She is the author of the bestselling book Gods of the Marketplace, a transformational work that continues to shape marketplace theology and leadership thinking globally, making her a uniquely relevant voice for today’s generation of leaders, professionals, and kingdom influencers.
Since 2005, Pastor Esther has hosted Power in the Word, a weekly radio broadcast on HOPE FM, Kenya’s leading Christian radio station. The program was ranked by the Steadman Group as the most listened-to Christian programme in Kenya, reaching and transforming countless lives through the teaching of God’s Word.
Together with her husband, Pastor Prince Obasi-ike, she co-pioneered the establishment of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Kenya. For nearly three decades, the Obasi-ikes have faithfully served in ministry, building one of the most recognizable Christian ministry footprints across Eastern Africa and becoming a household name in Kenya.
Pastor Esther is the Pastor in Charge of RCCG Solution Centre & Founder and President of Queen Esthers’ Generation (QEG), a dynamic interdenominational and intercultural global women’s movement that embraces women from every background and walk of life. QEG has an established presence in Kenya, the United States, Canada, Australia, Rwanda, and India. Its mission is anchored on four guiding pillars: Transforming, Equipping, Empowering, and Engaging women for Christian service across nations and cultures.
Thirty years after its inception, QEG has evolved beyond a movement dedicated solely to raising influential women and is emerging as a growing global institution committed to advancing governance, leadership, and kingdom influence. In pursuit of this vision, Pastor Esther is spearheading the building of the Queen Esthers’ Generation Global Institute of Governance and Leadership in Kitengela, Kenya, envisioned as a centre for developing transformational leaders for Africa and the nations.
Among QEG’s flagship initiatives is Queen Esthers’ Next Generation (QENG), a mentorship programme dedicated to raising girls and young women aged 13–20 to become ethical, visionary, and transformational leaders who will shape a transformed Africa by 2050.
Today, QEG stands as a Kingdom Legislative Assembly of Queens and Stars, where Queens reign by decrees and Stars shine without struggle. Pastor Esther is also the Founder of Kingdom Women Warriors (KWW), an interdenominational prayer movement committed to raising women who understand their spiritual authority, rise in prayer, wage strategic warfare, and legislate in the spirit realm for families, communities, nations, and generations.

To complement her extensive leadership and mentorship roles, Pastor Esther holds a Ph.D. in Missiology from Fuller Theological Seminary, California, USA, and a Master’s degree from Africa International University, Nairobi, Kenya. Her academic achievements reflect her lifelong commitment to biblical scholarship, leadership development, and advancing the mission of the Church.
Pastor Esther is also a family woman. She is joyfully married to Pastor Prince Okechukwu Obasi-ike for the last 34 years and are blessed parents of two adult sons.
